As you told just i am trying to plot from a batch file.
" /show,xxx command works fine."
Thanks for your replies.

Vijay,

Not clear if you want to plot during the solve (which I understand is a
new feature in V12 that I have not tried yet, but has been in MARC for
many years!) or if you're simply trying to plot from a batch file. If
the latter is the case, put a "/show,xxx" before the plot command,
where xxx could be jpeg, tiff, png, etc.

Vijay,

I am not aware of any way to capture the image while distributed run is
going on.

If your problem is non-linear, you can use multiple MONITOR commands to
extract the required nodal temperatures. Or else, you can write a macro
to obtain the required temperatures and call it between the load steps.
Then using DNSOL & PLNSOL commands you can obtain the temperature plot
in ANSYS. You can use a third party plotting utility as well.

Vijay,

Use these two commands:

PLNSOL,TEMP
/UI,COPY,SAVE,JPEG,GRAPH,COLOR,REVERESE,PORTRAIT,NO,100

Check various options for /UI command to make changes in the above
command per your need.

Hi,

Can any body tell me how to create Graphic output file ( eg.
PLNSOL,TEMP )while solving in Batch mode.

Because display command is ignored in Batch mode.

thanks
