Hi all,

I am trying to define young's modulus (EX) of 10 materials from an array. Array stores property "A" and EX=5000*sqrt(A). Does implied do loop not permit calculations, as shown below.

nmatc=10 ! number of materials
!array "matdata" has two columns (material no, material property)

mp,ex,(1:nmatc),5000*sqrt(matdata(1:nmatc,2))

above command gives me correct value of EX for 1st material. But every subsequent material EX is 1+EX of previous material.

Please advise if this kind of formulation is not possible or there is some other way round.

Do loop option is always there if implied do loop do not work.

Thanks a lot.
