|From time to time some members will receive an apparently unrelated email from email@example.com about a New user account. This is clearly an error and I apologise for the inconvenience caused. However the problem lies with the configuration of the Forum software which is controlled by PADT.
The usual trigger for this message is that a user tries to update their
email address in an incorrect manner. The procedure for updating an email address (which sadly is not intuitive) is set out at:
