Dear Group Members,

I often model in Mechanical APDL using a mixture of GUI and command techniques which is I believe most work do as well (just my assumption). APDL has its own learning curve and once mastered nothing comes close to its capabilities and advantages.
I combined APDL scripting with Excel and it gives lot of help.
I want to actually make a small but comprehensive archive for basic APDL scripting commands but with all the options commonly required. e.g. to create nodes in any shape or form with numbering, Getting back number of nodes from existing structure, applying forces or displacements etc to a collection of nodes and stuff like that. This archive can be extremely useful for beginners as they can learn scripting faster while enjoying the modeling.

Any ideas / inputs highly welcome.

Thanks
