Dear all,

I am performing nonlinear dynamic analysis with APDL code. My nonlinear element is COMBIN40 along with linear BEAM elements. Sometimes when analysis does not converge, i issue "ncnv,0" command and get results. However I don't know how it works and whether I should rely on results or not.

Please share any literature available about the usage of this command, e.g. how it works, what are the limitations, under what conditions its results are reliable. Also if there is any alternative to this command.

Any relevant advise is welcome.

Really appreciate your time and efforts.
