Using Xansys
To post a message to all the list members, send email to xansys@xansys.org. You can subscribe to the list in the section below. Existing subscribers can unsubscribe, change their options (e.g. receive messages as a digest) or receive a password reminder at the Member Options page
Subscribing to Xansys
N.B. The XANSYS subscription process is somewhat unusual: please read and follow the full procedure set out below otherwise your subscription request will not be successful. Subscribe to Xansys by following all four steps of the procedure.: Read the XANSYS Netiquette. Now that you have read the rules you will understand that it is a waste of time to subscribe from a Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail or Rediffmail account (or similar); please don't do it. Fill out the form below. Send an email to the moderator xansys-mod (at) tynecomp.co.uk. You can do this by clicking on the link at the bottom of the subscription results page. The subject line must include the word APPROVE, your email address and an ANSYS command that will generate nodes and elements in a volume OR if you use ANSYS Workbench Simulation then give the mesh control that specifies the mesh size within a radius about a point. In the body of the email you must include your full name, Company (or University if still a student) and the Country in which you reside. Wait for your an email indicating that your subscription request has been accepted (usually sent within 24 hours NB You cannot subscribe to XANSYS from a Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, 126.com, 163.com or Rediffmail account (or similar); please do not waste your time or mine. Anybody who does subscribe from one of these addresses will have their subsription rejected with no further explanation. Your email address:   Your full name i.e. Given name and family name (Mandatory):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
